We have had a few people say Sam looks a lot like my Dad, which I can see, but I also think he looks a lot like Lily. Take a look.

Melissa

I will have to scan a picture of Jake to show that as well. I got a new scanner, but I'm not technically savvy enough to hook it up.

Sitting up

It's not the best picture, but Sam has sat up all by himself several times. I have to prop him up, but he stays up without any assistance. He's growing up way too fast.

Hill Air Force Base

Sam spent most of the outing in his stroller, but he's as cute and happy as ever.

The kids loved the play area and wanted to stay in there all day. If you've never been I highly recommend it.

Easter 2011

Jake was having the kids make all sorts of silly faces for their Easter egg pics.

Jake is such a cute Dad and always gets the eggs all ready to color each year. I must say he keeps the counters much cleaner than we ever did as kids.

Jake got the kids some cute musical Easter cards. I had almost forgotten why Lily was crying right before this picture, but we got her "Tangled" or "Retangled" (Lily's combination of Repunzel and Tangled) for Easter and we told her she had to wait until after church to watch it. I would say about 99% of her tears have something to do with not being able to watch a show.

Griff's new basketball hoop. He has become quite obsessed with basketball. He seems to have a more natural interest and skill in it than any other sports so far. Probably a good one since he's likely to be tall and already has massive hands.

Sam even found an Easter Egg. He's so "egg"cited. (I have always hated the egg puns)

My drooly baby

I don't know if you can see it, but Sam is drooling in pretty much all of his pictures these days. I swear he's going to get a tooth, but Griff has him beat on this one. He got his first tooth at 3 months. Sam is however trying to match Griff's incredible spit up record.

Snow 2011

I am such a bad snow mom. This is the only time I got the kids all dressed up to go play in the snow this year. I would like to blame it on having a new baby, but the real reason is I don't much like the snow. Oh well, once is better than nothing I guess.

Fish Pond

My mom has started a tradition of having a fish pond at least once a year for the grand kids at her house. The kids always have a blast. Here a few pics of the event.
