Aldridge reunion at Bear Lake July 2012

We went to Bear Lake for a reunion with my Mom's side of the family. The kids had a blast! They had actually never been to a lake before. I know, they are deprived. They had a lot of fun on the beach playing with their cousins in the sand. It was a beautiful day.
Sam loves playing with balls lately, so we made sure to bring one to the beach.

Grandma Harker was great to go with the grandkids out on my uncle's boat. They LOVED it. It was very nice of them to take them out. It was the highlight for them. (Also their first time on a boat)

This is how we were all feeling at the end of the day, but we had a blast.

Addie's baptism

My niece Addie's baptism. I wish I was organized enough to have a picture of all the baptisms, but I guess this will have to do.

Boise Zoo

We had a fun little trip to the zoo while we were there. I believe it was Sam's first time. It was pretty small, but it was just right for us.

Sick

A couple of days before we left Sam got hand foot and mouth disease. It was pretty miserable. We decided to go anyway, but it made it a little more difficult to visit our friends. We were still able to hang out with them, but our kids didn't get to play with their kids
Lily and Griffin ended up getting sick too while we were there, so we didn't even do any sort of fireworks on the 4th of July. We were all exhausted, and it turns out they have fireworks on TV. I have never been inside at night on the 4th, so I didn't know that. I still prefer the real thing, but I guess it was better than nothing. We spent a good amount of time in our hotel, but that was just fine with the kids because they got to swim in the pool every day. They love the water. Sam is warming up to it, but doesn't love it yet.

Boise Trip July 2012

We left on the 4th of July for a family trip to Boise, ID. We wanted to have a getaway and visit our friends Nate and Jenny and family who live in Boise. Our first stop was in Twin Falls where we had a picnic and visited Shoshone Falls. It was really pretty.

Cute Kids

Smooking- Summer 2012/ Grandarent Summer Sleepover

Lily and Griffin had a class this summer taught by the same teacher that taught them preschool. She called it "Smooking". They did Science, Math, and cooking. Here are a couple of pictures of some of the things they brought home.

They just finished their last class. They are going to miss it.

Harker Sleepover

My parents started a tradition of having a grandkid sleepover twice a year. One in the summer and one at Christmas time. They always have so much fun, the kids I mean. Not sure about the grandparents. :)

Lily and Griffin

I came accross these old papers from primary, but thought we might like to have them recorded somewhere.
