Griff was so excited to read his Transformer book, he was reading as we walked out of the library. I'm glad he loves to read. I had to make sure he didn't get hit by a car though. :)

Swimming Lessons- June 2014

The kids had fun at swimming lessons again this year. 

 Sam was "flying like Superman" to keep himself entertained while we waited for the other two.

Kid's first flight

 Kids on their first plane ride. They were so excited. Lily inherited some of her Dad's fear of flying, but we all survived.

The Hotel

 Jake's awesome cousin Steph brought us a super thoughtful hotel survival kit. We stayed with Jake in the hotel while he was there on business and then stayed with Steph on the weekend. It was such an awesome trip. I'm so glad we went. 

Pacific Science Center

 It's hard to see in the picture, but this was one of the kid's favorite spots. It had a cash register with little foods they could pick. It helped them learn about eating healthy meals. It was really cute.

 Griff was legitimately concerned that this little shuttle was going to start moving, or that he was somewhere he shouldn't be. The voice in the little simulator was apparently very convincing. It was pretty funny. 

 Sam had no problem holding a cock roach. Yuck! Worse than that though, he was going through a licking phase and was licking every hand rail we came across. Luckily, he has grown out of that phase. 

Space Needle

 The only shot in the space needle. Griff was SUPER excited to go there, but by the time we made it there at the end of the day, he only wanted to stay for about two minutes.
