Feeling crafty

My friend and I made this gratitude board together. It took forever, but I like how it turned out. Our family will write what we are thankful for each day in November. I am excited to start this new family tradition.

I made the last three crafts at our Super Saturday. It was quite a craft-filled day.

Griff's 7th Birthday

Griff turned 7. Can't believe how fast my kids are growing up. He's such a sweet kid. Always happy.
Jake was able to take the day off on Griff's birthday. He ate lunch with him and helped in his classroom.
Wait, was this his birthday or Christmas?
 Our celebration at the Baldwin's

I made Griff a Utes cake this year. He may or may not have had a little persuasion from his Dad.

Griff also got a new bike for his birthday.
Griff showing off his latest Transformer. He still LOVES them. Not sure if/when he'll ever grow out of it.

Pumpkin Cookies

I love this time of year. There are so many fun things to do with family and friends. Notice Sam's pile of chocolate chips on his cookie. Luckily he didn't actually eat many of them.

Lily and Griff school fun

Lily doing her "show and teach" in her classroom. She was teaching the kids how to put together one of her Lego friends sets. She was so cute and nervous.

This is Griff's class at their trip to the South Weber Fire Station. I love my kid's teachers this year.

Black Island Farms Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch this Fall. It was a lot of fun, and they had a ton of stuff to do there.

Our hay ride to pick our pumpkins.

There was a HUGE slide. Sam went on it, but was slowing himself down the whole way. You couldn't see him, but could hear him yelling, Whoa, Whoa, and finally a few minutes later he came out. It was pretty funny.

Lagoon October 2013

We went with the family to Lagoon on Griff's birthday. The kids had a lot of fun, but Lily did a complete 180 on how she felt about the scary rides, even the not so scary rides. She was happy to stay on the kiddie rides. I guess it worked out well since Sam was too short to ride the bigger ones anyway. Sam LOOOOVED Lagoon. It was so fun to watch him have fun.

It got really cold at night, but we still had fun. Too bad we didn't get any pictures of Jake. He was the photographer, and I forgot to get pics with all of us.
